Neurodiagnostic Week Winners - Who Inspires You?
Congratulations to the Lifelines Neurodiagnostic Week winners. To celebrate Neurodiagnostic Week, we asked members of the EEG community who inspires them, via social media.
Karen Odum, R. EEG/EP T., CNIM, nominated Kristy Fox, RPSGT, EEG T., CLTM. Both Karen and Kristy work in the EEG lab at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.
Karen summed up how Kristy inspired her:
“I have been in health care for 38 years from LPN to neurodiagnostics — R. EEG/EP T., CNIM. I have both managed departments and worked as a technologist. I have worked with many team members over the years and I am inspired by Kristy Fox. Kristy has a passion for neurodiagnostics and I see her face light up with each and every patient that she meets — her love for our field really shines through. Her work is amazing. Kristy Fox, thank you for being a transparent, humble and inspiring leader. Salute!”

The second set of winners come from Albert B. Chandler Hospital at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. Dustine Arnold, AS, R. / EEG T., nominated Ali Piedell, RN, BSN.
This is how Ali inspires Dustine:
“Ali was so passionate about neurodiagnostics and taught me everything I know and have come to love and have become just as passionate about. She has gone on to become a NICU nurse at UK, but I could never thank her enough for her knowledge and patience! I guess sitting with you Ali all those weekends paid off!!!”
In addition to flowers, both Kristy and Ali received a $250 gift card, courtesy of Lifelines.
